Our Grand Boulevard Industrial Farmhouse Dining Bench is the perfect blend of modern and traditional design, making it a beautiful addition to your kitchen, dining room, entry, hall or bedroom.
The Grand Boulevard style of furniture gives credence to the street in Detroit it is named after. The solid wood bench top is handcrafted from reclaimed 2x4’s, creating a ‘grand’ 2-3/4" thick slab. Milled and face joined to expose the edge grain and rough-sawn edges, these tops celebrate all of the characteristics of the lumbers life for the past 100 years. The milled tops reveal the inner beauty of the lumber and offer a snapshot of the lumbers' life over the past nearly 100 years, revealing nail holes, beautiful grain patterns and sometimes even nails left behind.
Crafted by our skilled wood and metal artisans, this bench is perfect compliment to our Grand Boulevard Dining Table or as a solid and beautiful stand alone. The industrial farmhouse style is versatile enough to complement a range of decor styles, whether you're looking for a modern touch or something more traditional.
At Workshop, we're committed to creating exceptional, handcrafted pieces that are both functional and beautiful. Our Grand Boulevard Bench is built to last and withstand daily use for years to come.

Workshop Detroit FAQ
Where are our benches made?
All Workshop Detroit benches are handcrafted at our fabrication shop in Detroit, Michigan by our small team of skilled craftsmen. Every table is built to order with close attention to detail, durability, and finish.
What materials do you use for your benches?
We specialize in reclaimed, salvaged and sustainably sourced solid wood, including reclaimed pine, reclaimed oak, and select hardwoods depending on the design. Each tabletop is paired with heavy-duty steel or solid wood bases designed for long-term stability.
Will my bench look exactly like the photos?
No two benches are exactly alike. Because we use real wood—often reclaimed—natural variations in grain, knots, and color are expected and celebrated. Your table will be similar in style and finish, but uniquely yours.
Can I customize the size or finish?
Yes. Most of our benches can be customized by size, wood species, finish color, and base style. If you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for, contact us and we’ll help design a bench that fits your space perfectly.
How long does it take to receive my bench?
Because our benches are made to order, typical lead times range from 8–10 weeks depending on the design and current production schedule. We’ll provide an estimated timeline when your order is placed and keep you updated along the way.
Do you offer white glove delivery or in-home setup?
Yes. We offer in-home delivery and set up is available for many locations and includes delivery, placement, and packaging removal.
Are your benches durable enough for everyday use?
Absolutely. Our benches are built for daily life. We use commercial-grade finishes that protect against spills, heat, and normal wear. Our benches are built to last for generations.
How do I care for and clean my bench?
Routine care is simple. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and avoid harsh chemical cleaners. No Bleach. Mild soap only. Coasters and placemats are recommended for added protection, as with any natural wood surface.
What if my bench arrives damaged?
We stand behind our work. If your bench arrives with shipping damage, contact us immediately and we’ll make it right—whether that means repair, replacement, or another solution.
