Elevate your home with the Petite Grand Boulevard Dining Table, a captivating jewel from Workshop Detroit that blends the soulful grit of reclaimed urban lumber with the sleek elegance of modern craftsmanship. This table is more than a dining surface—it’s a testament to resilience, artistry, and intimate connection, designed to transform your kitchen or dining room into a haven of warmth and refined character.
The tabletop, a solid wood slab, is meticulously shaped from lumber salvaged from metro Detroit homes and buildings. Made from structural pine 2x4s that carry the whispers of a city’s storied past. Each plank is a mosaic of time, its weathered grain, subtle nail marks, and natural patina weaving a narrative of endurance and rebirth. Sealed with a low-luster finish, the wood’s rich, tactile beauty radiates, beckoning hands to trace its history and eyes to linger on its organic allure. The Workshop Legacy Stamp, delicately etched, reveals the street address of the lumber’s origin, rooting your space in the enduring spirit of Detroit’s past.
The base, a masterful interplay of form and function, is a hand-welded steel frame with slender steel legs that pay homage to the city’s industrial legacy. The clean, minimalist lines and rough-ground welds exude an authentic, artisanal charm, while adjustable feet ensure unwavering stability. This harmonious fusion of reclaimed wood and polished steel crafts a modern farmhouse aesthetic—compact yet commanding, rugged yet inviting—that seamlessly enhances spaces from cozy urban apartments to airy suburban kitchens.
Envision the Petite Grand Boulevard Dining Table as the heart of your intimate gatherings: its thoughtfully scaled rectangular form fosters closeness, turning everyday meals into cherished moments of connection, from quiet dinners for two to lively brunches with friends. The interplay of warm wood and cool steel creates a magnetic focal point, infusing your dining room with a sense of purpose and authenticity that captivates every guest. This table doesn’t merely occupy space—it redefines it, weaving a story of craft and care into every shared laugh and clinking glass.
Choosing sustainably sourced furniture like the Petite Grand Boulevard Dining Table is an act of stewardship, a commitment to preserving resources while honoring the past. By repurposing urban lumber, Workshop Detroit breathes new life into materials that might otherwise be lost, reducing waste and celebrating the beauty of second chances. Each table is a step toward a more sustainable future, crafted with intention to minimize environmental impact while maximizing enduring quality. When you invest in this table, you’re not just buying furniture—you’re joining a movement that values history, craftsmanship, and the earth.

Workshop Detroit FAQ
Where are our dining tables made?
All Workshop Detroit dining tables are handcrafted at our fabrication shop in Detroit, Michigan by our small team of skilled craftsmen. Every table is built to order with close attention to detail, durability, and finish.
What materials do you use for your dining tables?
We specialize in reclaimed, salvaged and sustainably sourced solid wood, including reclaimed pine, reclaimed oak, and select hardwoods depending on the design. Each tabletop is paired with heavy-duty steel or solid wood bases designed for long-term stability.
Will my table look exactly like the photos?
No two tables are exactly alike. Because we use real wood—often reclaimed—natural variations in grain, knots, and color are expected and celebrated. Your table will be similar in style and finish, but uniquely yours.
Can I customize the size or finish?
Yes. Most of our dining tables can be customized by size, wood species, finish color, and base style. If you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for, contact us and we’ll help design a table that fits your space perfectly.
How long does it take to receive my table?
Because our tables are made to order, typical lead times range from 8–10 weeks depending on the design and current production schedule. We’ll provide an estimated timeline when your order is placed and keep you updated along the way.
Do you offer white glove delivery or in-home setup?
Yes. We offer in-home delivery and set up is available for many locations and includes delivery, placement, and packaging removal.
Are your dining tables durable enough for everyday use?
Absolutely. Our tables are built for daily life—family meals, dinner parties, work-from-home use, and everything in between. We use commercial-grade finishes that protect against spills, heat, and normal wear. Our tables are built to last for generations.
How do I care for and clean my dining table?
Routine care is simple. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and avoid harsh chemical cleaners. No Bleach. Mild soap only. Coasters and placemats are recommended for added protection, as with any natural wood surface.
What if my table arrives damaged?
We stand behind our work. If your table arrives with shipping damage, contact us immediately and we’ll make it right—whether that means repair, replacement, or another solution.
