All Workshop Detroit headboards, footboards and bed frames are handcrafted at our fabrication shop in Detroit, Michigan by our small team of skilled craftsmen. Every bedroom furniture piece is made to order with close attention to detail, durability, and finish.
What materials do you use for your headboards, footboards and bed frames ?
We specialize in reclaimed, salvaged and sustainably sourced solid wood, including reclaimed pine, reclaimed oak, and select hardwoods depending on the design.
Will my headboard, footboard and bed frame look exactly like the photos?
No two pieces are exactly alike. Because we use real wood—often reclaimed—natural variations in grain, knots, and color are expected and celebrated. Your bedroom furniture will be similar in style and finish, but uniquely yours.
Can I customize the size or finish?
Yes. Most of our bedroom furniture can be customized by size, wood species, finish color, and base style. If you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for, contact us and we’ll help design a beautiful piece that fits your space perfectly.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Because our tables are made to order, typical lead times range from 8–10 weeks depending on the design and current production schedule. We’ll provide an estimated timeline when your order is placed and keep you updated along the way.
Do you offer white glove delivery or in-home setup?
Yes. We offer in-home delivery and set up is available for many locations and includes delivery, placement, and packaging removal.
Are your headboards, footboards and bed frames durable enough for everyday use?
Absolutely. They are built for daily life. We use commercial-grade finishes that protect against normal wear. Our bedroom furniture is built to last for generations.
How do I care for and clean my headboard, footboard and bed frame?
Routine care is simple. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and avoid harsh chemical cleaners. No Bleach. Mild soap only.
What if my order arrives damaged?
We stand behind our work. If your headboard, footboard or bed frames arrives with shipping damage, contact us immediately and we’ll make it right—whether that means repair, replacement, or another solution.
